A unique attraction for birthday parties, corporate events, team building or fun sessions etc. Water Walkers are also available for hire for kids Birthday Parties as pool parties.
Water Walkers are suitable for all ages and everyone should give it a try. I can promise that you will never have had as much fun on the water - and you won't even get wet!
Unlike other attractions in Britain, Water Walkers can be used all year round as you always stay dry.
What is a Water Walker?
A Water Walker is a giant 2 metre inflatable ball that allows you to walk on water! Running, rolling and spinning around inside a giant inflatable sphere - on top of the water.
Will I get wet?
No! That's the really great thing about this activity is that you can get inside the sphere, walk on the water and get out again - all without getting wet. This means participants don't have to bring a change of clothes to the party in order to enjoy.
How long can I stay inside a Water Walker?
There is sufficient air inside last approximately 40 minutes to an hour. However, the energy required to take part ensures that 5 minutes at a time is more than enough. Children and adults will try again and again to improve their skills and after a short rest are eager to have another go!
How old do I have to be?
Kids of all ages from 4 to 94 can enjoy the experience. However, we recommend that not more than 90kg weight is put into the sphere at one time.
How do I get into a Water Walker?
You climb inside the sphere via a large zip on one side. You then stand upright whilst a soft tube attached to a blower is placed through a gap in the zip. The air blown into the sphere is cool and gentle. Once the sphere is fully inflated the zip is closed tight and the sphere is ready for the water.
How does the ball get into the water?
Once the Sphere is fully inflated, trained staff will ask you to walk towards the water inside the sphere. Staff will guide the sphere to the edge of the pool where you will sit down and push yourself onto the water. Staff also push the sphere out onto the water ensuring that you do not come into contact with the poolside.
How do I get out of the Water Walker?
When its time to get out of the sphere, staff will gently pull the sphere towards the side of the pool. You then simply kneel on the side of the pool, stand up and walk the sphere to a safe area where staff will open the waterproof zip allowing the air to escape and you simply step out of the sphere.
Are use of the Water Walkers supervised?
Yes! Water Walkers staff supervise the use of the spheres during use at your party. To ensure that no sphere is able to drift into the centre of the pool, all spheres are tied by a rope to the side of the pool. This means that if you get too tired to return to the side of the pool, staff are able to gently pull you in.
Could the Water Walker burst?
No , The sphere is made of heavy duty TPU polyurethane plastic and is not inflated using high pressure air. A gentle stream of cool air inflates the sphere until the you are able to stand upright inside and the ball is fully inflated around you.
What happens if the Water Walker gets a puncture?
In the unlikely event of a puncture occurring, the sphere will deflate slowly in much the same way a bicycle tyre would. There is no sudden rush of air outwards and the Sphere will not suddenly deflate. The ball can stay afloat for a long time posing no danger to the participant.
Can the Water Walker sink?
Remember that you can lie on top of an inflatable airbed in a pool without sinking. An ball contains about 10 times the volume of air of an airbed, and therefore there is no risk of sinking.
